The Gordons Corner Fire Company was established for the protection of life and property as well as the prevention and extinguishment of fires along with specializations in technical rescue for the residents of Fire District #1 in the Township of Manalapan, Monmouth County, NJ.
Specialized Capabilities
Ice Rescue
Trained and equipped with specialized cold-water immersion suits,and tethered line systems to perform rapid surface rescues on frozen bodies of water and during cold-water emergencies.
Cold-Water & Frozen Surface Response
Vehicle Extrication
Equipped with advanced hydraulic rescue tools ("Jaws of Life"), stabilization gear, and specialized cutting equipment, our certified crews respond to complex motor vehicle accidents to safely and rapidly extricate trapped occupants.
Heavy Rescue & Entrapment Response
Rapid Intervention Team (RIT)
A specially trained, highly equipped crew staged at major incidents with a single dedicated mission: locating, stabilizing, and rescuing firefighters who become trapped, injured, or lost in the line of duty.
Protecting Our Own
Technical / Rope Rescue Team
Certified personnel trained in rigging, slope evacuation, and high-angle rope systems to safely access, stabilize, and extricate victims stranded in high, steep, or complex technical environments.
